Garra - Claw

Process: Chased, forged, hand made.

This was my first jewel created with a totally unique design and as extracurricular work. I wanted to make a necklace to give to my girlfriend. This piece has initially caused shock and consternation among my peers and teachers, but as the piece evolved, people started to get used to it and eventually liked. As a matter of fact, some liked it so much they asked me to make one for them. I always enjoyed the fact that a piece would cause a reaction in people, whether good or bad, and accomplishing that purpose made ​​me very happy. I liked the end result so much that I decided to make a collection based on the claw motif, a cat scratching the wearer's body. 
Provocation is my goal.
